2015 - a look back, 2016 - a look forward...

2015 was another great year.  Great weddings, lovely couples, travel and our little girl turned one, to name a few things.  These photos just scratch the surface. 

I'm already extremely excited about what 2016 has in store... kicking off in January with the wedding of dear friends on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico.  But the biggest news is that my family & I are relocating to the Pacific Northwest!  My wife landed a job in Portland, OR and that will be our new home base.  I'm very excited to start shooting in that gorgeous area of the country, and of course, I'm still available for travel worldwide.

That said, having lived in or near Chicago my entire life, it will certainly be difficult leaving behind family and friends.  I'll be returning to shoot a number of weddings in the area this year, and I don't plan on those being my last in Chicago... still I'd like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing couples and wedding vendors I've worked with over the past few years in Chicago. 

Pacific Northwest, here we come.
