I travelled back to Chicago to shoot Karen & John’s lovely wedding & they were absolutely wonderful to work with. I had photographed the wedding of some friends’ of John’s & when he first reached out to me, he sent one of the most flattering emails I have received, stating, “You have a gift, and I may have chosen you as my wedding photographer even before I met my fiancé.” How could I not be excited to capture their wedding?

I hadn’t shot at Fourth Presbyterian Church & it is a gem. It’s such a beautiful Gothic revival church & the courtyard is gorgeous for photos, as well. Fun fact: it’s apparently the 2nd oldest building on Michigan avenue. We took post-ceremony portraits in Lincoln Park, which is always lovely.

As you can see from the photos, their reception at Germania Place was a blast.
